and today I want to bring you a little lesson, its
a country lesson. This is a pretty cool, easy legato
lick that you can play. It uses open strings in the
first position. So lets get into it.
The very first note is on the 2nd fret of the 3rd string
using my 1st finger. Youre going to pick that note and
then do a pull-off to the open string. Then Im going
to go to the 4th fret of the 4th string and then back to
the 3rd string open. Pretty easy so far.
Next is Im going to do a pull-off from the 4th fret of
the 4th string to the 2nd fret and then to the open string.
So far
Next, go to the 5 string. Im going to play it open and
then Im going to do a hammer-on to the 3rd fret and then
to the 4th fret. Im going to follow that with the 4th
string open. So far
Next Im going to pick the 3rd fret of the 5 string and
pull-off to the 2nd fret and then pull-off to the open string.
Finally, the 6th string open and then to the 3rd fret of
the 6th string and Im going to bend that up a full step
and then play just a regular open A chord.
So the whole lick, slowly
