Killer Pentatonic Lick in the Style of Paul Gilbert -- Lead Guitar Lesson on Pentatonic Licks

I played here in the 4th fret and I include the Blue Note, this G is our ghost I started in the A-string 5th string with a pull off from the 7th to the 4th fret. Now in the low E in the 7th fret again in the A-string, this time from the 4th to the 7th fret with a hammer-on.

Now let’s go to the 4th string in the 4th fret again back to the 5th string and pull off from 7th to the 4th fret. So it’s time for the blue out here in the 4th string in the 5th fret, it’s a pull off from 5th to the 4th fret with our second first finger and now again in the 5th string 7th pull off to the 4th fret and now in the 5th in the low E 7th fret the last three notes are in the 4th fret of the A-string and now in the 7th and 4th fret of the low E.

So I played the whole sequence first low, let me play it one more time very slowly for you and remember that every time that you have two notes in one string in this particular league they’re always either hammer-on or pull off. There are really very few notes pick here, most of the lick here is hammer on and pull offs so it goes like this, that’s the whole lick it’s in the C sharp minor. Now you can play with a harmonic like pinch harmonic lick.

So I hope you liked it remember that you can get the taps of this link by clicking in the video description below and make sure to subscribe on our YouTube Channel and we’ll see you in our next video lessons, thanks for watching.
