You can never learn too many cool licks on the guitar.
Today I’d like to share with
you a lick from Jimmy Dillon.
It’s a great lick because
it’s a lil’ bit dissonant.
Dissonance is a fun thing.
It’s kind of like biting
into a lemon.
But when you put it into
context, it really says something.
Like Jimmy says, it kind of
sounds like “the butler did it”.
