I want to give you a treat today.
No its not a chocolate cupcake
sprinkled with pixie dust…
It’s BETTER! (lol)
I want to give you my take on a
“jump blues”, inspired by Jimmy
Dillon and Rockin the Blues,
which you can read about here:
If you already picked up your
copy of Rockin the Blues,
THANK YOU… it should be
on its way to you shortly.
Either way, I want to show you
how I took one of Jimmy’s ideas
and put my own spin on it.
That’s what the blues, (or any music)
is all about — taking some idea
that inspires you and then spinning
your own interpretation of it.
Heck, even classical music, where
you’re supposed to follow it
note for note, has room for
phrasing, inflection, and interpretation.
So, without following Jimmy note for note,
i just took the vibe and injected some
of my own ideas.
Check it out:
Hopefully it will inspire you to
also check out Rockin the Blues Deluxe
and create some cool sounds of your own.
If you haven’t read about Rockin the Blues
Deluxe yet, … or maybe you did, but
you just weren’t sure…
Then please give it a look-see.
Even just *reading* this should give
