I just wanted to say thank you to Apache Rick, and all the other vets out there, for your service, loyalty and sacrifice, without all you guys and gals, we might not even be able to enjoy the knowledge and kind offerings from Claude Johnson. Then to hear you are still fighting through tough situations, shows exactly what you all are about, guts, courage, the will to win, and an inspiration to all of us, I was in the very last draft of 72 when they went by Birthdays, I wanted to learn aircraft mechanics, as I just graduated high school with four years of auto tech and shop all day. Back then I had horrible allergies to something starting in the late summer until a good hard freeze, they stuck with me so many needles trying to figure out what was making me sneeze [sometimes repeatedly until I almost could not breath] When I went for my physical the Doc said something as military do, like ” I ain’t having you even at a desk with your snot on my docs,,, so get whatever is wrong fixed!” I kept at it but we never figured it out, at the age of around mid twenties it just stopped, but I was always afraid it would start back up, so any time I get a chance to say THANK YOU to all the brave vets out there I try to do that,,,,,,,,,,,,, so THANK YOU, without you it is hard and scary to think where and how we might be living, hang in there guys and gals, if it ever seems you are not appreciated it is not true, not by a long shot most of all you gave up everything for me and I appreciate it more than words can say, I do believe we just do not say Thank YOU often enough so if you are not thanking a vet when you meet, please consider it, it is the very least we can do for our true heros,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Vic,Ron here, Hey don’t feel bad! I’ve been playing for a long time and got sick here about3 1/2 yrs. ago,now I don’t remember things so well! Keep at it,I’ve lost everything I learned over the yrs. and it’s like starting all over. Some days it sticks, some days I’ve forgotten everything from the day before that I learned! It’s very frustrating, but I’m not a quitter either! LOL Trim your nails back as far as you can stand, and as you get callouses on your tips, it will get better! From one old fart to another, hope this helps Ron

That is so cool, Apache Rick. I am also a Vietnam Vet, 65 years old.
Have been dabbling with guitar for a while, not very good, but enjoying it.
Guitar Control and Claude are so very helpful.
Have fun, rock on! And, ‘Welcome Home’ !!

Thanks for these quick little lessons. The pulloff at the end has me stymied for now, but it’s all about the journey, not the destination you know.

Thank you also for your Christmas and New Years wishes. Taking opportunity on last day of Christmas
season ( Epiphany) I would like to wish you in New Year : good health, greatest successes, prosperity
and above all Blessings of God. Also I would like to make an apology for so late wishes and replying you.
Sorry, I’ve been engaged in my personal Christmas concert as well in choir singers Christmas concerts where I was singing and playing background. I am very satisfied that I’d had pleasure to give music like: “Silent Night”, “Tears in Heaven”, “Sing”, “Can you feel the love tonight” and old Bellamy Brothers hit “More of you” for thousands of inhabitants of this little Cambridgeshire town.
Warmest Regards: Krzysztof Chmiel.
