Standard tuning for a guitar means the strings are tuned to E-A-D-G-B-E lowest to highest. That range covers many octaves and repetitions of those notes.

The Key of C is sometimes thought of as the simplest because it does not contain any sharps or flats, only letter designations C-D-E-F-G-A-B-back to C.

Keep asking questions…

Hey, it´s in stardard tuning… That doesnt mean its in the key of C, it means that the A note has a frequency of 440 Hz.

What key is this guitar tuned to? Is it the standard key (which I am assuming….as a beginner…is the key of C)? Thanks!
