Hi! P is your thumb (Pima) l (index finer) m(middle) a (anular). The little finger is known as L or C! Depending on where you come from!

P = Thumb, I = index (1st) finger, M = middle (2nd) finger, A = ring (3rd) finger. Darren explains this at the end of demonstrating the piece. More of your acoustic talents please, Darren!

P = thumb, I = index (1st) finger, M = middle (2nd) finger, A = ring (3rd) finger – Darren explains this after he has played the exercise through at the beginning.
If I remember correctly, comes from the initials of Spanish language for those fingers, as used by Flaminco and Classical teachers.
Nice lesson Darren, lets have more of your acoustic talents!!
