Hey, how’s it going this is Claude Johnson with Guitar Control, I want to show you a quick little jazz formula that I came across when I was studying a tune called “Pent up house” by Sonny Rollins.
There’s a lot of great something that too but just get into like the part where they saw all over the chords and it starts out as a basic 2-5-1, of the key of G that’s A minor 7, D7, G major 7, so you may you might already know that basically formula 2-5-1, two bars G major 7, and it was sold over that looks like G Major scale.
Now like I said you already know that but here’s where they twist it up after the G major 7 two bars that it’s just one bar at E major 7 and then to E7, so the whole thing says I guess it’s a really nice twist it’s really the 6th degree so it’s like a 6 chord dominate so just a really interesting or normally the six would of course be A minor chord, E minor such as like 1-6-2-5, you could play it so the classic jazz formula.
