Hey, this is Matias Rengel with Guitar Control, today you’ll be learning this really cool groove.

The first thing that I would like to do is to play this at a slower speed, so we got two different things going on here we got two chords and we let’s explore the chords that are actually very simple so we get the idea what’s happening so the first one, it’s a C sharp minor 7 in the 2nd chord it’s a major 7 just fully C sharp minor 7, I got my index on the 4th fret of the 5th for 3rd, 2nd and 1st string and I put my ring finger on the 6th fret of the 4th string and my middle finger on the 5th fret of the 2nd string C sharp minor 7 from there what I do is I put my index finger for the next chord, I mean I put my index finger on the 7th fret of the 4th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, string and bring down the ring finger on the 9th fret of the fourth finger on the 8th fret of the 3rd, pinky finger on the 9th fret of the second index finger already touching this 7th fret of the 1st 3 major 7.
So we’re going to create a groove over this it’s going to be sort of like a riff groove for the first one we’re going to start by playing and then we start with the lick so we delay we’re going to start right after that we’re going to go 4th fret of the 5th string, 7th fret of the 5th string, 4th fret of the 4th string, and then you’re going to do legato and you’re going to hammer-on and pull off fast to 6th fret and pull off to the 4th like this and then you start sliding so for this what you’re going to check this out we’re going to slide out from this 7th fret of the 5th to the 9th fret to play the 6th fret of the 4th, we’re just lined up to the 9th fret of the 4th then we’re going to play the 11th fret of the 4th, 9th for the 3rd in this line up to 13 from there you’re going to pay the turn of the 2nd, 14 of a 2nd travel the 1st then you got the 14 of the of the 2nd right after the 12th of the 1st we’re going to feel like a new little bit second off to the 12th fret of a 2nd play the 13th fret on the 3rd slide down to the 11 same string with pull off to the 11, 11 of the 4th 9 of the 4th so pretty cool.
What we’re going to do from there is we play the E major 7 and we’re going to go to the 4th fret of the 6 I’m going to do it actually like the same the same leg but I’ve transported two different notes but it’s the same sort of interval, it’s the same as before so we go 4th on the 6 C, what you have to hear that you have we’re going to bring it one string up he’s going to be 6 string 4th fret 7, 4 of the 6 and then the same thing we are a string ups where the 5th string 4th fret hammer-on to the 6th fret pull off to 4 fret and then back to the 6th string. Now were starting on the 5th string 7th fret and now we’re starting on the 6th string so for that we have this 6 string 7th fret sliding up to a 9th fret then 6th fret of the 5th string sliding up to the 9th fret of the 5th never afraid of the 5th, 9 for the 4th never heard of the 4th plane to 15 foot of the 430 for the 1st 13:13 front of the 3rd fret of the 4th to off front of the 2nd and then we do the same as the 4th then pulling off to the 9th fret of the 4th 11th fret of the fifth and it’s a really cool like a little bit challenging perhaps but it’s going to improve your skills because it’s involving hammer-on picking it’s involving pull-offs and it’s also involving slide plus chords but anyways that’s all for today it’s you showed there’s a link in the description they make sure you click on tap on it to get the tab and follow along with this video okay also I would love to know what’s your favorite song of 2019 so far leave a comment down below with your answer.
