Hi, everybody this is Darrin with Guitar Control, today I want to bring you a little country lesson. This is a pretty cool, easy legato lick that you can play. It uses open strings in the 1st position.
The very first note is on the 2nd fret of the 3rd string using my first finger. Youre going to pick that note and do a pull-off to the open string. Then go to the 4th fret of the 4th string and back to the 3rd string open.
Next Im going to do a pull-off from the 4th fret of the 4th string to the 2nd fret and then to the open string. Next, go to the 5th string and Im going to play it open then Im going to do a hammer-on to the 3rd fret and then
to the 4th fret. Im going to follow that with the 4th string open.
Next Im going to pick the 3rd fret of the 5th string and pull-off to the 2nd fret and then pull-off to the open string.
Finally, the 6th string open and then to the 3rd fret of the 6th string and Im going to bend that up a full step and then play just a regular open A chord.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this lesson. Be sure to click on the link for the tabs so you can learn how to play the lick yourself. Make sure to subscribe on our You Tube Channel and we’ll see you in our next video lessons, thanks for watching.
