This is basically a riff that’s in the Key of E, we’re going to play an E power cord and you’re going to play the top three strings open and bend the 2nd fret of the 3rd string. And then you bend that note and release it to a pull-off 2nd fret of the 4th string and you go back down to that E power cord and then, you play 3, 0, 2.

On “Catfish Blues”, he’s playing based around those open E pentatonic licks and basically just vamping on one cord. A lot of Muddy Waters tune you’ll find just one cord. So make sure to subscribe on our You Tube Channel and we’ll see you in our next video lessons, thanks for watching.
