Muddy Waters – Well known Names In The History Of Blues

Originally born McKinley Morganfield on April 4th, 1915, blues guitarist Muddy Waters is probably one of the most well known names in the history of blues. Most blues musicians consider blues guitarist Muddy Waters the father of the Chicago Sound and he is also the father of two other famous blues musicians; Big Bill Morganfield and Larry “Mud Morganfield” Williams. He was one of the major inspirations of the blues revival in the 60’s and was recently ranked #17 in Rolling Stones article the 100 greatest ARTISTS of all time! Muddy Waters is a name that is synonymous with the world Blues and over the past century has become a household name.
