Friend,
How does a pro guitarist embellish a
simple chord progression with ordinary
major and minor chords?
One way, is just in arranging the chords –
putting the right chords next to each
other, and knowing when and how to
resolve a progression is crucial.
Another way, is to use some cool
picking patterns.
Or, you could use some open strings
and slide around and throw in some
fancy licks.
