T-Bone Walker was an American Blues Legend. Specializing in Big City blues, he was an excellent singer, songwriter, pianist, blues guitarist and overall amazing musician. He was most famous of course for his blues guitar playing and was one of the most important pioneers of the electric guitar in blues music. He was featured as #47 in Rolling Stones magazine article entitled “The 100 Greatest Blues Musicians Of all Time. Born in 1910 as Aaron Thibeaux Walker he learned his amazing skills playing in the string bands of Dallas in the 1920’s. His sound is thought to have fully developed when he recorded “Mean Old World” for Capitol records. Blues guitarist T-Bone Walker has gone from there to be one of the most influential blues guitarists of the 20th century.
