Descending Pentatonic Lick with Interval of 4ths
Hi guys my name is Billy Crabbe and I’m here on behalf of Guitar Control and I hope you enjoyed this lesson. So here we have a pentatonic scale played in descending fourths and basically what that means is you’re gonna start on your note and then play the fourth below and you’re gonna do that what’s going to the scale. So we did this in B minor and I’m gonna start on the tenth fret on the E string and a fourth below would be the tenth fret on the B string. Then we’re gonna go to the seventh fret on the E string and a fourth below to the seventh fret of the B string. Next we’re gonna go to the tenth fret on the B string and then play a fourth below by playing the ninth fret on the G string and then we’re gonna go to the seventh fret on the B string and then back to the seven fret on the G string. So altogether so far… Next we’re gonna go to the ninth fret on the G string and then play fourth below on the ninth fret on the D string and then go to the seventh fret on the G string to the 7th fret on the D string. Then I’m gonna go to the ninth fret on the D string to the ninth fret on the A string. I repeat the pattern by going to the same fret on the D string to the 7th fret on the A string. So all together up to this point… Then we’re gonna go to the ninth fret on the A string and then to the tenth fret on the E string and then we’re gonna go to the same fret on the A string time to the same fret on the E string. I’m gonna end on the tenth fret of the E string and we’re gonna end up with a slide. So altogether… that’s the lesson.
