Happy Memorial Day!
Let me take a sec to tip my hat to those
who have served or are serving in the military.
I have always respected those that
serve their country and I try to
personally thank servicemen
and women when I see them in uniform.
Even though that can be a little weird,
I think they appreciate it. Maybe this
sounds corny, but seriously… how often
do we really thank those that make
sacrafices?
I have had a few uncles serve in the military.
Of course, that kind of service is not
for everyone — but I think as long as we
try our best to serve others in the best
way we can, we are doing good.
Take me for example – I don’t think I would
make a very good soldier.
However, right now I am lucky enough to serve the
guitar community as a teacher and for
that I am greatful.
Lately I have been on a blues kick, posting
some blues lessons on my blog… and why not?
All the modern music has its roots in the blues.
