Try this rhythm guitar trick

hi Friend,

Happy Monday – rah rah.

I don’t want to nag, but have
you been practicing guitar?

I ask because I have lately…And I love making
progress! My lead guitar chops are coming along.

It’s nothing out of the ordinary – I’m working
on your basic pentatonic and diatonic scales,
but getting them up to HIGH SPEED BABY.

I’ll share more about that another time.

Today, I just want to show you a cool chord shape
that you can move around the neck with the open high E string.

It’s a nice trick for coming up with cool rhythm guitar parts.

Here at the 7th fret, its an Amaj6. Move
it down to the 5th fret, it becomes a G6 chord.
Move it up to the 9th fret, its like a B6sus4 or
an inverted Emaj7 chord.

Try moving this shape to different frets and keep
that high E string ringing open. It sounds cool!

You can write a new riff or song…
