hey Friend,
so we got a new acoustic blues
lesson up today
This one focuses on the minor blues
but with a new twist.
by the way, the answer the yesterday’s
question about BBQ Bob… he actually
wrote “motherless child” which was
famously covered by Clapton.
And it turns out that in Clapton’s
music video for that song, the bass player
Dave Bronze played with Jimmy Dillon back in the 80s
in a band called Rough and Tumble…
Speaking of bass guitar, we’ve got
an exciting new bass guitar
course – just released Volume 2
of bass zone formulas.
Check it out here:
Also, in the Rough and Tumble band,
they also played with a harp guy
named Jerry Portnoy who played with
Muddy and Clapton and also on Jimmy’s
first album.
Cool!
Ok, so make sure to check out today’s video,
here’s the page again:
less than 2 weeks till this new DVD series
hits the streets.
I’ll send you more guitar goodies this weekend.
