About Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, aka, Billie Eilish, is an American singer-songwriter born on December 18th 2001 in Los Angeles California. She first gained attention in 2015 when she uploaded the song “Ocean Eyes” to SoundCloud, which was released by Darkroom, a subsidiary of Interscope Records. Her debut EP “Don’t Smile At Me” was release in 2017 and reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. In 2019 she released her debut full length studio album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go” and became one of the best selling albums of that year. The single from that album, “Bad Guy”, became a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Eilish has received numerous awards including; five Grammy awards, two Guinness World Records, two American Music Awards, one Brit Award and three MTV Music Video Awards. Eilish claims that she grew up listening to artists such as The Beatles, Justin Bieber, Lana Del Rey and Green Day; but did not consider a music career until hearing “Runaway” by “Aurora”.

Unusual Fashion Style

Eilish says that her fashion style comes from dressing out of her comfort zone to grab the attention of everyone around her. In 2019 she appeared in a Calvin Klein advertisement and said that she wears baggy clothes so people don’t body shame her.
