What is goin on???
I’ll tell you what’s on my mind:
See, I’ve always been into blues guitar because
it just felt good to me – I like the raw
soulful energy and the intensity of it.
On the other hand, I also like jazz because
its smooth, mellow, and relaxing. It’s definitely
a different kind of energy that’s also very cool.
What’s really neat is when you can combine the two:
You can play the blues… but add a touch of jazz sophistication
to it. Kind of the best of both worlds.
I call it “jazz-blues”.
And I’m discovering that it’s A LOT of fun
to experiment with.
