Introduction
Hey guys my name is Billy Crabbe. I’m here on behalf of Guitar Control and I hope you enjoy this lesson. So here we have a sweep picking sequence which is combining an A minor arpeggio, F major, G major and E major arpeggio.
Sweep Picking Exercise
The licks starts on the twelfth fret of the A string and we’re gonna sweep down to the tenth fret of the D string and then down to the ninth fret on the G string to the tenth fret on the B string. I’m on the 8th fret on the E string and hammer on to the 12th fret on of the E string and we’re going to slide the 12th fret to the 8th fret on the E string and pull-off to the 5th fret on the E string and do an upstroke to the 6th fret of the B string, down to the fifth fret on the G string to the seventh fret on the D string and to the 8th fret on the G string. All together up to this point…
Then we’re going to slide up the from the 8th fret to the 10th fret of the A string and then we’re going to do a down stroke to the 7th, 8th, and 9th fret on the D string and to the 7th fret on the G string and then the 8th fret on B string and then the 7th fret of the E string and then hammer-on to the 10th fret of the E string.
Then we’re going to slide down the tent from the 10th fret of the E string to the 7th fret of the E string and then pull-off to the 4th fret of the E string and then upstroke to the 5th fret of the B string, fourth fret on the G string, 6th fret of the D string and then the 7th fret of the A string. So all together up to this point… Then we’re going to slide up a half step to the 8th fret on the A string and then a down stroke to the 7th fret of the D string, fifth fret of the G string, sixth fret on the B string and then the 5th fret of the E string and then we’re going to slide up to the 10th fret of the E string and pull-off to the 7th fret and then I’m going to do upstroke on the 8th fret of the B string and 7th fret of the G string and then a 9th fret of the A string and then the 10th fret of the A string. Then all together up to this point…
Then from here we’re going to slide up to the 12th fret of the A string and we’re going to do a down stroke to the 10th fret of the D string, down stroke to the 9th fret of the G string then 10th fret on the B string, 8th fret on the E string hammering on to the 12th fret and then tap at the 17th fret of the E string. So all together up to this point…
That’s the lesson guys. Thank you for watching, until next time…
