Welcome back! If you are looking for easy guitar tabs for popular songs, this is your post. I have
prepared for you one of the most iconic guitar songs ever in a very easy way that most
beginners will be able to play it.
One of my favorite bands of all time is Metallica. I think the first song I ever learned guitar was
Nothing Else Matters. Of course I only learned how to play the open string arpeggio and nothing
else because I didn’t know what else to do. But I was obsessed with it. My brother a CD of them
playing live with the San Francisco Philharmonic and I would listen to it everyday and it would
just blow my mind.
When I had my 10th guitar lesson, my old teacher prepared for me an arrangement of Nothing
Else Matters by Metallica which surprisingly I was able to perform. He did make a few
adjustments to the original song so that I was able to play it, but it still sounded good to me back
then. Better than not being able to play it at all!
So today I decided to take out a few rhythms and notes from this awesome song by Metallica
and I wanna share it with you so you can all play it no matter what level you are on guitar. If you
picked up your guitar for the first time 1 week ago, I’d say give it a try! Why not. It’s not that hard
I do suggest that you use your fingers for this arrangement. Always go with your thumb for the
notes placed on the 6th and 5th string and stick to your index, middle and ring finger for the
other notes. We will not be using the pinky finger at all.
